Fish Totes…

So when I say fish totes, I don’t mean totes for fish but totes of fish. Hand-printed fish on 100% recycled cotton totes to be exact. (Spoiler, one design actually isn’t a fish but a crustacean).

Please let me introduce my three new designs that I released at the start of the month – flounder, mackerel and crab. Which is your favourite?  You can find them listed in my Etsy Shop if you’re interested in reading some hilarious puns.

Flounder Tote Bag Three Bridges.JPG

The beachy shots were taken in South Queensferry (with the assistance of my mum, thanks mum). It’s worth a visit if you’re ever close enough – there’s great independent shops, ice cream parlours, cafes, restaurants, a few pubs and also the lovely beach. It’s where I do all of my sea glass picking and driftwood hunting!

HOLT – Faux Cow Skull…

(Holt has been lucky enough to find a home, but there are currently others still looking for one listed in my Etsy Shop)

Holt is a charming and reliable member of the Forest Creature family. He helps in the important task of guarding small woodlands from harm to allow them to grow in to mature forests. He features reindeer moss, faux succulents and driftwood horns so does not have any plant care demands. He has been hand sculpted from air drying clay and then carefully painted in woody tones.

Holt Main View.JPG

Holt is designed to be hung on the wall and therefore has a simple hole for hanging (e.g easy to place on to a picture hook or nail). He will arrive nestled in tissue paper and securely tied down within a tear strip postal box – all the packaging is recyclable.

NOVA – Faux Cow Skull…

(Nova is searching for a home and is currently listed in my Etsy Shop)

NovaMain

‘Nova’ is a ancient Galaxy Explorer who holds plenty of energy and power. It is fitting that he carries a piece of clear quartz as the stone is said to dispel negative energy, help focus thought and motivation and amplify positive energy.

SAGE – Faux Cow Skull

(Sage is currently available for purchase in my Etsy Shop)

‘Sage’ is a forest dweller who has a positive and light-hearted temperament. This is reflected by his dewy glow and the three pieces of green sea glass within his forehead. The number 3 in many cultures is very auspicious and when paired with the colour psychology of green it could be seen as a sign of good fortune!

sage side view.JPG

Sage’s ‘horns’ are actually a pair of ‘tricolour melanocrater’ air plants. Here are my simple recommendations on how to keep them happy and healthy;
– Mist the plants once or twice a week with water, ensuring they have dried off within 4 hours or your plants may begin to rot.
– Place the skull in a bright room, but out of direct sunlight as the plants may get too dry and begin to brown.
I include a care sheet specific to the variety of air plant with each skull for future reference.

SAHARA – Faux Cow Skull

(Sahara has now been sold but there are still other skulls listed in my Etsy Shop)

‘Sahara’ reflects the purity and elegance of a natural skull. After being hand sculpted from clay I painted minimal detail and use natural tones to accentuate her curves and shape.

Sahara Main.JPG

Sahara’s ‘horns’ are actually a pair of ‘Baileyi’ Airplants. Here are my simple recommendations on how to keep them happy and healthy;
– Mist the plants once or twice a week with water, ensuring they have dried off within 4 hours or your plants may begin to rot.
– Place the skull in a bright room, but out of direct sunlight as the plant may get too dry and begin to brown.
