So the photo on the left was actually in my ‘nail fail folder’. When I created it originally I didn’t have a proper stamping polish which is why the black is so washed out but I didn’t delete it outright because I saw potential in it’s over-all design.
However a few months back I ordered a bottle of Konad Stamping Polish from BornPrettyStore, and boy what a difference it made! It’s bold and punchy now so I’m finally happy to reveal it to the world. The animal print foil (review here), and the stamping plate (review here) are from BPS too. I have seriously used that plate a million, billion, gazillion times and would highly recommend if you’re going to get anything from BPS – get that!
So it’s Autumn. There’s no denying it or avoiding it as our house faces a woods and the leaves on the trees are starting to turn. With this realization I felt it was time to get some browns out, so I did it with a brown glitter ombre topped haphazardly with leopard print nail foil* (A11) from BornPrettyStore – which is currently on sale at the moment, 14th September, at only $0.99!
So if my original post using the Born Pretty Store Nail Foil* ‘A11’ was too dull for you, how about this multi-coloured madness that I did for my mum! Totally changes the look of the print right? I personally like the green and pink, although the blue is close behind. I pretty much like them all haha!
The blue is Barry M ‘Guava’.
The green is Barry M ‘Key Lime’.
The pink is No17 ‘Grapefruit’.
The orange is Barry M ‘Tangerine’.
Remember if you’re placing an order at BPS, use the code ‘AZYW10’ to get a 10% discount on their already low prices.

So Born Pretty Store (BPS) contacted me offering the opportunity of picking a few products* to review. I have heard and seen great things about them before but never really checked them out. They have seriously everything (jewellery, clothing, nail art supplies, phone accessories) at crazy low prices. The jewellery looks great and is even cheaper than Primark, hard to believe right? Even more amazing is that their delivery is free, say whaaat!
They have an amazingly huge range of nail art supplies so picking only a few products was super hard! (Go check it out already, your mind will be blown.) I felt that studs etc are usually all the same, apart from appearance as they have some I’ve never seen before, but I avoided them for the time being as I wanted something more gritty to review so I could really judge the quality. I chose a Stamping Plate and Stamping Stamper/Scraper as I thought it would be good to combine those two for a fuller, fairer review, you’ll see those later. As well as some water transfers and nail foil as both of these can be troublesome if of a poorer quality, which this stuff doesn’t seem to be.
The nail foil I chose was called ‘A11‘ and is currently $2.88. It comes in a tube which makes storage easy, it didn’t state how much was meant to be in the tube but I had probably about a meters worth – a huge amount of foil! I used my trusted ‘Rio Foil Glue’ to stick the foil to my nails once my base coat was dry, the product description tells you how to achieve adhesion with just polish alone – I will also have to try out this method out as not everyone has foil glue! I’ve had problems with Ebay bought foils before regarding the way the pattern comes off the backing – it just didn’t. However BPS foil came off like a dream! It didn’t crinkle horrendously, the pattern came off cleanly, and for some nails I didn’t even have to peel the backing off as it came up by itself. Top coating foils is always risky, sometimes it makes them wrinkle or just look a bit weird, I used SecheVite and as you can see lovely and glossy with no wrinkles! (Those brush marks you can see are actually from my base colour seeing as it’s metallic.)
I am so super happy with this product, my mum can’t wait to have this put on her nails actually, and I’ll definitely be using it again. If you’ve checked out their range and fancy no doubt a whole heap of things I now have a 10% off code you can use at the checkout. That makes buying even sweeter right? It can be found on my side bar and also at the end of this post!
