Party Pearl…

So I actually won the base colour, tokyo pearl, from a  ‘Birthday and general appriciation giveaway’ (I won bundle#3) held by the wonderful Cat at ‘‘Cat’s Claws’. It’s a lovely polish that didn’t show up well in the photo the first time I used it (feathers theme for OMD2 challenge which I won’t even link it because it was so horrendous). I’ve not been into anything intricate lately, more so lines and geometry etc etc, so I hope yous aren’t getting too bored with my (almost) repetition.

Glitter Daggers…

So I don’t even know what that title means but I like the word ‘Dagger’. I purchased a new glitter polish from ‘Body Care’ for 99p. It has silver and black glitter so I didn’t know what base to put it on as it probably would have went on anything. What  did I chose, silver – boring. It also means you can’t see the silver glitter very well sorry for being silly!

Blue Gold Glitter…

So I’ve cracked out a polish I’ve not used in ages. I bought it whilst visisting Newcastle from a random market stall, it’s a ‘W7’ polish that has no name! They glitter is funny because it’s in a blue base but has gold and purple glitter through it so it’s weird to use but I’ve noticed this seems to be a bit of a trend right now, mixed colour glitters that is. I wanted to call it something like ‘hold back the poison bubbles!’ but that was a) too long for a post name b) it sounds silly anyway and c) I got worried in-case I was the only one who saw it like that.

Pink and Purple Bling…

(Sorry it’s such a poor quality photograph)
I’m  usually not one for rhinestones, but today I thought ‘hey, why not!’. I think it would have actually looked better if I’d put gems on all my nails. And my ‘purple’ glitter top coat, wasn’t very purple! I’ll maybe try it again with a different colour combination.

Dino Egg…

This was just to try out a polish I got ages ago, but had never actually used it. It was a limited edition Barry M called ‘Liliac Foil’. I’m still undecided as to whether I like it or not. Decorated with gold dots and finished with a  glitter top coat.

The combination reminds me of a dinosaur egg, not that I’ve ever seen a real one but…

Glitter Tiger…

Yes yes, tiger print’s pretty boring but there’s just something about it that makes me want to paint it all the time! (Probably because it’s easy to do). I mixed two glitters together to get this base as my ‘orange’ is more pink so I added yellow. And I really need to get a new black, my Barry M stuff just seems to gloop up so quick. Any brand suggestions?
