So colourful was an easy one as anything goes right? Therefore I went for everything – pearlescent colours, gems, glitters and sponging, yaay!
So I think I’ve got it this time! Lighter, pastel colours, check. Some bling but not too much bling, check. But… do those triangles count as nail art – answers below please because if they do then I’m afraid I’ve failed again. No nail art allowed! Also, really scraping the bottom of the barrel for props, caterpillars are nice and spring related right. It’s a shame the caterpillar in no way compliments the nail art and if anything it detracts from it… Cute though no?
So I’ve only really painted one ‘bridal’ design before (here) but it was more accidental than anything. I don’t think I’ve been very adventurous, but I think they turned out really pretty if I do say so myself. (I would never wear them for real though, far too 3D for my liking, the thought of them catching on things, eeek!)
So again, I went for customizing nail wraps instead of painting a design. The wraps themselves were kinda cute – love heart scales but a little bit too ‘sweet’ for my usual tastes. I made them even worse by adding some gems! Hooray. They’re already doing my nut in though as the gems stick out quite far from the nail (and managed to lose one on my index finger before I got a photo).
