So recently I’ve been attending a few Business Gateway workshops in preparation for, get this, running my own ‘business’. I craft a lot more than I let on and it’s now got a point where I thought would people like to buy these things and I came up with the answer yes. Fortunately I still have my swimming teaching job to support me financially, so I suppose it’s more of a hobby business but it doesn’t mean I’ll be treating it with any less respect.
One of the issues highlighted was that I didn’t have much brand consistency. My Facebook, Instagram, Word-press etc had different pictures and could potentially be confusing. I spent a little time having a play about with my ‘brand name’ and eventually came up with this!
I hoped this new image would reflect my fun and playful nature, be quite memorable and also easy to transfer on to packaging, etc. I’m not sure if I’m sold 100% on the black, it’s very strong and bold. How about this blue background? I suppose I can still edit colours in the future, but at-least I’ve got the logo down!
