Willow Pattern Pt2…

So here’s more of the nail art that I’ve copied from my ‘willow pattern’ vase. I think they work. Well maybe not the brick thumb, but everything else yeah? This will be the last blue and white nail art you see for a while! I’m kinda bored of seeing them now.

    1. I just use a striping brush! I do have a black and a white nail art pen, but I find that the polish from them tends to crack on top of the base colour, which looks baaad.

      1. I’ve noticed that with the pens too. I’ve bought quite a few brushes and none of them seem to work for me. Maybe if I bought a real striping brush instead of art brushes from Walmart. Thanks for the reply!

      2. Haha yeah probably! You can get them cheap off of ebay usually. I’m glad I’m not the only one having problem with nail art pens then. I thought I maybe wasn’t shaking them enough or something.

    1. Haha, erm… I’ll assume you meant ‘like’? I felt cheeky stealing it from the vase in the first place, but I think most of them worked alright as nail art. It’s always time to get the brushes out!

    1. Thanks, I enjoyed painting them. I usually start off like ‘oh hey, that’ll be a good idea’ and then wanting to punch myself in the face like an hour later when it’s not worked out. But not this time!

  1. Lol, I can totally relate to that punch-myself-in-the-face feeling. I’m always: how hard can it be? BEFORE I begin, in the middle of doing it punching myself seems like the best solution. But I guess that’s how we learn 😉 Love this mani and your inspiration too.
